ITIBI RA

EARTH, AN EXTRATERRESTRIAL'S GREENHOUSE
Reported by Wendelle C. Stevens

In late 1966 Herr. Ludwig Pallmann, a health food salesman and expert on nutritional plants, their cultivation, preparation and marketing, was searching the jungles of Peru for different, hardier, and higher-yield species of plants for crossbreeding. He was looking, in particular, for a giant arrowroot plant that he believed to be coming from a remote rain forest area south of the Colombian River port of Leticia on the Amazon River.

He went to Leticia and inquired, of the boatmen there, just where they were getting the giant roots. His search led him to some Indians who were bringing the roots to port. After hiring those Indians to take him to the place where the big plants grew, he discovered that they got them from another tribe of Indians who got them from still somebody else. He worked his way closer and closer to the source, and when he was several days up what he calculated, from his map, to be the Mari River, his current paddlers told him they could not go any farther, that the next district was "very mysterious" and unknown to them. They said that the tribe living there was secretive and was thought to be working with some "Americans" up there.

Pallman thought, "these American oil prospectors get into some of the most remote places, but I can deal with them if I can only get there." Instead of turning back with the paddlers, he paid them off and had them leave him and his things on the riverbank. He did not have to wait long, only until his paddlers were out of sight, before he was approached by new Indians armed with crude hand made weapons. These Indians did not seem as wild as he had been led to believe, and they conducted him to a small village of plastic-like cones, something like the American Indian teepees, but the material was firm, like metal, and they stood without any visible bracing. There were a couple of people there who were dressed in calf-length toga-like garments. They were light-skinned and seemed to be of white-race stock.

Pallman addressed them in English, which they seemed not to understand. Then he tried Spanish with no better result. German proved no better either, but when he tried French, one of them went in a hut for something and came out with a translating device. It was adjusted and they began to understand. At his suggestion the translating device (not much bigger than a cassette tape recorder) was adjusted to German and he felt more comfortable with the dialogue.
These Aryan-looking light-skinned humans told him that they came from a planet much like Earth in many respects, for which reason they were here. They were operating this plantation site with local Indians in an attempt to develop hardier and higher yield species through the crossbreeding of plants from their home planet with ours. The aliens had a highly developed taste-sense and loved some of our fruits.

They particularly liked the chirimoya and sought to take specimens of that fruit back to Itibi with them for large scale production.

Pallmann stayed with them for nearly a month, learning their own language and teaching them some of ours. He learned that they and their ancestors had been observing Earth for some time, and that they came and went as conditions changed. They told him they operate two other similar plantations in South America, one in the Bolivian Pando, and another on the Magdalena River delta in Columbia.

The Itibians were served by several small 30-foot diameter disc-shaped craft which came from their mothership in space. There were three circular landing pads about the same diameter at the edge of the hut area, and he watched their ships arrive and depart. The ships looked nearly metallic but had a ceramic appearance to the skin surface as well. The lower disc-flange of unbroken material was topped by a transparent raised dome about one third the diameter of the craft. They descended and ascended vertically, and flew in horizontal flight with prodigious speed.

The Itibians learning of Earth from other ET's who had come here for thousands of years, first came to this planet in 1946. They call our planet SIL - SIL - HUA meaning "the place of discovery of the chirimoya fruit." They also like our quayaba fruit, which they were trying to develop into plantation stock to take home to Itibi.

While I was investigating Ludwig Pallmann and his story in 1967 I made contact with Richard Greenwell in Lima on business for APRO (The Aerial Phenomena Research Organization). As I described Pallmann's story and the location of the Itibi plantation up the Mari River, we pulled out a map to look it up. It is just a few miles (80 to 100) east of Mt. Huascaran, a big snowcapped volcano in Northern Peru.

Most amazing to me was Greenwell's description of four color photographs of two silvery disc-shaped craft that were photographed above a shoulder of the same big mountain about the same time as Pallmann's story.

Richard showed me the pictures and they seemed to fit the descriptions of the Itibi craft by Pallmann very closely. The similarity was astounding, and given the rarity of either event could only lead one to conclude that someone had photographed a space craft from Itibi-Ra.

A full report on the Pallmann story was published in 1986 in a hard cover book titled 'UFO Contact from Planet Itibi-Ra" by Ludwig F. Pallmann.
